Après une journée à Versailles (château + jardins + eaux nocturnes), il fut agréable d 'avoir cet hôtel à -10mn à pied pour récupérer de cette journée. Très bon accueil et rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Client fidèle depuis plusieurs années, c'est toujours un plaisir de descendre à l'hôtel Royal. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Très bon rapport qualité prix et hôtel bien situé.

Hôtel très agréable. Personnel aux petits soins. Isolation acoustique très bonne mais le grincement des planchers en bois reste inévitable. Petit bémol aussi, pour la baignoire dans la salle de bain. Nous aurions préféré une douche.

Je recommande cet établissement en raison de son excellent rapport qualité / prix et de son service clients. L'équipe est au petit soins pour les clients, davantage encore au petit déjeuner (qui défie toute concurrence !). Je séjournerais volontiers ici lors d'une prochaine venue au château de Versailles

I really wanted to love this hotel. The staff was very kind and welcoming. When we first walked into the room, it looked very clean, the sheets were clean and ironed, the room had enough space for the family, there was a queen size bed for the parents and two single beds for the kids. The room had a fan, and we were able to open the windows. The toilet room was clean, and had no smell, however when we walked into a bathroom, it had a VERY strong sewer/damp/mold smell. With the closed door the smell did not seep into the room. At a first glance at least, the bathroom was clean with white floor tile and clean towels. When showering, I noticed mold along the ceiling seam, and as I was taking a closer look, it was spread onto the walls around the shower. It appeared to look like black mold. It was late to switch rooms by the time I realized, so we stayed, but needless to say, I was anxious that I brought my family to a place that was potentially growing black mold on the wall and oozing sewer smell in the bathroom. I could not sleep at all that night, and as soon as the kids were up, we packed our bags and got out of that room and left the hotel. I let the owner know in the morning about the smell and the mold. She told me that they regularly sanitize the sewer, but did not say anything about mold. In any case, as much as I think that this hotel is run by kind and welcoming people, I would not return. I think hotel guests want two things during their stay: clean bed, clean bathroom, and in this case one of them felt unsafe and unclean due to the smell and what appeared to look like mold.

Nous avons passé un super séjour. L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche de la gare et du château. Un grand merci au personnel pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur amabilité.

Comme à chaque séjour dans cet hôtel, des propriétaires au petits soins pour leurs hôtes, une convivialité et un accueil chaleureux, une propreté irréprochable, bref, pourquoi aller ailleurs ?

The Royal Hotel is only 5 min. walk to the station of Versailles rive gauche and 15 min. to the Royal Palais. We liked most the warm welcome and attentive service of the managing couple. Even the breakfast with home made spreads and cakes and personal talks was very statisfying. The room showed its age but was very clean and well equiped. Maybe some more hangers would be helpful. I would ghighly recommend this hotel for a not deluxe but very pleasant stay.

Hôtel proche du château de Versailles (10 mn à pieds) et de la ligne RER . Parking payant à proximité. Petits commerces aux alentours. Accueil chaleureux et disponibilité de l'ensemble du personnel. Chambre bien équipée. Petit déjeuner servi à table avec d'excellents produits. Les confitures maison sont délicieuses. Nous recommandons cet établissement sans hésiter.

Près de la gare, du RER, du château et des restaurants l'hôtel est idéalement placé. Propre à tous les niveau, silencieux, avec un petit déjeuner varié, cet hôtel est à recommander. En outre Sylvie et Philippe sont d'une parfaite gentillesse et d'une grande amabilité.

It was disappointing that there were too many stairs to accommodate a wheelchair which meant a lot of pain for my wife who felt demeaned by the experience. The staff were very good and helped but management should make it accessible as per government guidelines.

Même si nous n'étions pas venus pour cela, l'hôtel est idéalement situé pour visiter le château. La déco peut paraitre vieillotte (je ne suis plus trop fan de la moquette au sol mais elle était propre) mais c'est dans le style de l'hôtel. La chambre que nous avions au 1er étage était très confortable et calme. Le petit-déjeuner est top et le personnel est serviable et agréable.
